Calhoun Elmentary School students competed at the Menlo cross country race on Thursday, October 30th and brought home several medals and trophies. Students placing in the top 10 runners for their grade received medals and included Drew Gravitt for the 3rd grade; Meri Kathryn Black, Samantha Bramlett, Carter Bagett, Luke Jones, Baylon Spector, and Bryson Davis for the 4th grade; Blaire Robinson, Bailey Barcomb, Abby Connally, Bianka Reyes, Caitlyn Carroll, Karen Valencia, Ray Reeves, Johnny Cruz, Jarrett Carden, Tanner Gallman, and Ryan Randall for the 5th grade. Our 4th and 5th grade boys and our 5th grade girls did so well that they won the 1st place trophies for their grade levels. We are very proud of our fleet of foot young yellow jackets!
