Lights, camera, action! Calhoun City Schools sets the SSTAGE!!! Our very own Kathy Parker Adams, Tonya Turner, Lesley Harrison and Mana Smith were selected among many school systems across the sate of Georgia to be presenters at the SSTAGE (Student Support Team Association for Georgia Educators) Conference in Athens, Georgia on the topic of Collaboration: The Key to Successful Response to Intervention. They highlighted how collaboration within the Calhoun City Schools has led to effective RTI practices and positive change for the system including the SST level, shared examples of current progress monitoring and intervention practices, and placed an emphasis on "intervention" (the I in RTI) rather than reform. They are patiently waiting for their SSTAGE Oscar!
