Hines shines as new Georgia Career Students Association state president

The Calhoun High School Georgia Career Students Association works hard all year on their projects for competition with Jekyll Island as their year-end goal.  Students who placed at Region earn the privilege of competing at the state level at the Spring Conference in Jekyll Island.
CHS junior Derikas Hines chose to run as State GCSA president and the entire group campaigned with our ever popular and successful "Jacket BB bottles".  He rode the Jacket Racket to victory.  This is the first ever State President from CHS.
