High School Graduates: CHS graduates of the class of 2009 are: Jarrett Ables, grandson of JoAnn Dean of CMS; Tyler Arnold, son of Tabitha Arnold of CES; Cody Berry son of Tammy Berry of CMS; Andrea Brzozoski daughter of Lisa Brzozoski of CHS; Emily Clark and Rachel Clark, twin daughters of Joy Clark CPS and Dain Clark of CHS; David Garza son of Maria Garza of CPS; Sara Hall daughter of Keith Hall of CHS; Riley Hall son of Sherrie Hall of CPS and Board Member, Eddie Hall; Amanda Law, daughter of Amy Law of CES; Andrew Mason, son of Denise Mason of Pre K; Myra McDonald daughter of Paige Hales of CHS; Eric McDaniel, stepson of Davina McDaniel; Breanna Pierce daughter of Dawn Pierce(Ms Boo) of Pre K; Duke Pierson (Lars G. IV) son of Monica and Trey Pierson of CHS; Kelsey Smith daughter of Mana Smith of CPS; Jordan Stephens grandson of Pam Stephens of CO, Son of Shannon Miles CHS, stepson of Andrew Miles CMS, and nephew of Ray Reece CHS. Cody Monsour, son of CO's Jan Monsour graduated from Adairsville HS. Gordon Central graduates were: Corey Goodwin son of Wendi Goodwin of pre K; Richard Trejo son of Cecilia Mosqueda of CPS and Brandon McFry and Dillon McFry sons of Nancy McFry of CMS. 
   Higher Education:  Ryan Wilson, son of Lynne Wilson of CHS will graduate from Coosa Valley Tech's Police Academy and has obtained the rank of Sgt. within his class of cadets.  Denise Mason, pre K parapro graduated from Covenant College and got her BS in Early Childhood Education.  Lindsey Johnson daughter of Boys Track Coach, Raymond Hobby; Brant Murry, Assistant Track Coach and Lindsey McFry daughter of CMS's Nancy McFry graduated from Dalton State College. Master's Degree recipients from Kennesaw State are: Kari Groce of CES and Joy Renfro daughter of Vicki Bowman of CHS. Casey Garland Evans received her BS in Early childhood Education and received the Most Outstanding Student Teacher Award; she is the daughter of Diane Garland of CO, sister of Candi Hawkins CPS and sister-in-law of Jason Hawkins CPS.
   Several faculty members will receive their Education Specialist degrees this summer from Piedmont College. They are: Heidi Allen, CHS; Amy Blackstock, CPS, daughter of Harvey Blackstock CO; Valerie Boston of CPS; Kay Carpenter, CPS; Lynn Davis, CHS wife of Mike Davis CHS and sister of Hal Lamb, CHS; Heather Hamilton, CPS; Jodi Joostberns, CHS; Davina McDaniel, CMS; Marcus Palazzolo and Laura Payne of CHS; and Amanda Schutz of CO.   
   And graduates of UGA were Carrie Edwards, who graduated Magna Cum Laude, daughter of Pam Edwards of CPS; Josh Goodwin, son of Wendi Goodwin of pre K; and Ryan Mullins son of Francie Mullins who was a First Honor Graduate with a perfect 4.0 one of only 25 in this year's UGA graduating class.
