Did you know...

The Funds raised at CPES have allowed our students the opportunity to complete the following projects...
  • In the spring of 2011 we planted 45 Carolina Jasmines along the CPS front retention pond fence line.
  • In the spring of 2012 we planted 50 knock out rose bushes in front of the CPS playground fence line.
  • In the fall of 2012 we planted 1000 tulip bulbs in front of the library window and around the trees.
  • In the spring of 2013 we planted 60 knock out rose bushes on the side of the CPS playground fence
  • In the fall of 2013 we planted 1500 tulip and daffodil bulbs in front of the library and around the trees.
  • In the spring of 2014 we planted 50 knock out rose buses along the CPS side retention pond fence line.
  • In the fall of 2014 we planted 1500 tulip and daffodil bulbs in front of the library and around the trees.
  • In the spring of 2015 we added 65 knock out rose bushes to the side of the CPS retention pond fence line.
  • In the fall of 2015 we planted 2200 tulip and daffodil bulbs all around the campus.
  • In the Spring of 2016 we had our LARGEST PLANTING PROJECT TO DATE!  There were over 2,000 students, teachers, support staff and volunteers who planted 20 forsythia bushes and 10 Carolina Jasmine bushes on the CPS side, and 200 knock out rose bushes along the CES basketball court fence line!
  • In the spring of 2017 we planted 44 maple trees along the backside of the Complex.
  • This is our 12th year of being GREEN!
  • This will be our 9th year hosting an Earth Day planting project in April!
  • This will be our 7th year hosting a bulb and tree planting project in October!
  • This will be our 6th year having the GREEN store!
