Meet Mrs. Greeson

Hello all, my name is Jana Greeson, and I will be teaching math this school year with Mrs. Long and Mrs. Ruff. This is my thirteenth year teaching, and I'm thankful all thirteen years have been with Calhoun City Schools. I earned my undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University, and my master's degree from Lee University. I am an ESS Teacher for fifth grade math. It is a honor to be a part of the Calhoun Yellow Jacket family.

When I am not working, I am busy keeping up with my family. Adam and I have been married for twenty-four years, and we are blessed with our precious family. My son is a 2017 Calhoun High School's graduate, and he is attending Kennesaw State University to pursue a degree in Political Science. Dylan is married to Leah Coats-Greeson, and they have my first grandchild, Gunner Hugh. Gunner is the center of all our lives and our greatest joy. Leah is attending Georgia Highlands to pursue a nursing degree. My daughter Railey is an 2019 Calhoun High School graduate, and she is also attending Kennesaw State University to pursue a degree in Elementary Education in Special Education.

My favorite thing about Calhoun City Schools is that we inspire ALL students to achieve their highest potential. This family environment is the best place to work, and for my own children to grow and thrive. I am looking forward to being a part of your child's life in such an important role.
