Board Paid Benefits for 2021-2022:
For 2021, the Board will contribute $11,340.00 for each certificated employee enrolled in a State Health plan and will receive reimbursement from The Department of Education each month in our Quality Basic Education Funding. The board will contribute $11,340.00 for each classified employee enrolled in one of the State Health plans but will not receive any kind of reimbursement from The Department of Education. This portion of your health insurance reduces your premium to provide a quality health plan at a competitive cost.

Board Paid Benefits provided by Calhoun City Schools includes:
- Dental Insurance
Calhoun City Schools pays the first $29.14 (employee portion) of your monthly dental insurance premium. - Basic Life/AD&D Insurance
Calhoun City Schools provides a $30,000 term life insurance policy which includes an additional $30,000 if death occurs by accident. - Long Term Disability Insurance
In the event a disability occurs, Calhoun City Schools provides you with Long Term Disability Insurance available on the 181st day of the covered disability.
The Calhoun City School Board participates in the State Health Benefits Plan through the Department of Community Health to offer health insurance to qualified employees and their eligible dependents.
