Calhoun Elementary School is a Georgia Title I Distinguished School and a Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase School that serves students in fourth through sixth grades. We take pride in our school and what it has to offer! Our mission is to inspire all students to become lifelong learners in the pursuit of excellence, and our faculty and staff work tirelessly to ensure every student receives the highest quality education possible by continuously seeking ways to raise the bar of educational excellence for all. Standards-based focus, research-based practices, engaging learning experiences, differentiated instruction, data-driven decision-making, emphasis on character, environmental education projects, performance opportunities, and service-learning characterize our school. With the collaborative efforts of faculty, staff, students, parents, and the community, Calhoun Elementary School is a place of excellence where children can achieve their full potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, and moral development.
