ACT Registration

Before you begin, you will need the following information:

  1. ACT USERNAME and PASSWORD

  2. Calhoun High School Code (CEEB): 110550 

  3. Calhoun High School ACT Test Center Code: 189570

  4. Picture ID

  5. Credit Card with expiration date

Step 1: Go to the site http://www.actstudent.org

Step 2: Click Register for the ACT

Step 3: If you are already a member of act.org, enter your User ID and Password. If you are not a member, please click the box in the upper right hand corner (I have not taken the ACT before and am creating an account for the first time) and follow the instructions to create a new account.

Step 4: Click the REGISTER FOR THE ACT icon and complete all the necessary information. 

Step 5: Read the Terms and Conditions and check the I agree box at the bottom of the page and click continue.

Step 6: Select a Test Date. Enter information here if you qualify for a Fee Waiver (Fee waiver available for students on free/reduced lunch - See Mrs. Arnold).

Step 7: Choose a Test Center.

  • Search ZIP CODE (30701) and find text centers nearest – Calhoun High (Test Center 189570)

Step 8: Upload required picture.  

Step 9: Review your Registration Information and Enter Credit Card Information.

Step 10: Print your Confirmation and Admission Ticket. 

  • Students MUST bring the Admission Ticket and a Photo ID…No Exceptions. 

  • If a student needs a Photo ID, you can have one made in the CHS Media Center prior to test day. Students WILL NOT have the option of printing their ticket the morning of the test due to network printing rights.


SAT Registration

Before you begin, you will need the following information:

  1. Collegeboard.com USER ID and PASSWORD

  2. Calhoun High School Code (CEEB): 110550 

  3. Calhoun High School SAT Test Center Code: 11275 

  4. Picture ID

  5. Credit Card with expiration date

Step 1: Go to the site http://www.collegeboard.com 

Step 2: Click the link REGISTER FOR THE SAT.

Step 3: If you are already a member of collegeboard.com, enter your User ID and Password. If you are not a member, please click CREATE ACCOUNT to create a new account.

Step 4: Click the REGISTER FOR the SAT icon 

Step 5: If you have not done so, update your personal information for your Admission Ticket and click continue.

Step 6: The next section will need to Create a Student Profile. If you would like, fill out the information to the best of your ability and click continue. To skip this section, click the Update College Profile Later icon.

Step 7: Read the Terms and Conditions and check the I agree box at the bottom of the page and click continue.

Step 8: Next, confirm the country where you are taking your test by clicking – United States

Step 9.: Choose a Test -- SAT 

Step 10: Select a Test Date. Enter information here if you qualify for a Fee Waiver (Fee waiver available for students on free/reduced lunch - See Mrs. Arnold).

Step 11: Choose a Test Center.

  • Be sure the Test Location is Inside the United States. 

  • Search ZIP CODE (30701) and find text centers nearest – Calhoun High (Test Center 11275)

Step 12: Upload required picture.

Step 13: Review your Registration Information and Enter Credit Card Information.

Step 14: Print your Confirmation and Admission Ticket. 

Day of Test

If a student has an IEP or 504 plan and needs testing accommodations, a parent permission form must be completed, if a student is under 18. The form should be completed at least eight weeks prior to registering for the SAT or ACT and returned to Mrs. Watson, CHS Room AL59, to allow for accommodations to be approved by the testing agencies.
