Dual Enrollment
What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit programs provide opportunities for Georgia high school students to take college-level courses and earn concurrent credit toward a high school diploma and a college degree while still in high school.
Students must have qualifying scores in order to enroll in Dual Enrollment classes for the post-secondary institution in which they plan to attend. Qualifying scores can be obtained through:
Accuplacer Scores
ACT Scores
SAT Scores
Georgia End of Course Milestone Scores (Reading and Sentence Skills Sections Only)

Accuplacer
The Accuplacer is an adaptive, multiple-choice and essay test that is designed to be a clear measure of academic skills in the areas of Sentence Skills, Reading Comprehension, Arithmetic Test, and Elementary Algebra. The Accuplacer is untimed and required scores depend on the post-secondary institution.
The Accuplacer is given at Calhoun High School two times per year. Students are allowed to take the Accuplacer two times per year in the first year they test. If qualifying scores are not met in the first year of testing, students can test one more time per year.
