Lime Lizards

Welcome to Calhoun Pre-K and the Lime Lizard Class! I am so excited that you will be part of our class this year! This is going to be a GREAT school year! I am looking forward to getting to know more about you and your child.
Judith Ralston

First, I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I have lived in Calhoun my entire life. I am married to Donnie Ralston. We have two children, Emma and Jess. We have a cattle and poultry farm. I love working in my yard, gardening, reading, and spending lots of time with family and friends. We are all huge CHS yellow jacket fans. You will see us at all the games cheering on our jackets. 

I graduated from CHS in 1986. I received my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education at Berry College in 1990. My master’s degree in Early Childhood Education was completed in 1993 from West GA College. I received my Educational Specialist degree from Piedmont College in 2010.
This year, I will be starting my 25th year of teaching. I have taught in several grades including kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 3rd, 4th, 5th grade reading. The Lime Lizard class began 12 years ago when Calhoun Pre-K received two new classrooms.
 
I want this year of Pre-K to be a wonderful beginning to your Calhoun City School educational adventure. We have a class pet "Lucy the Lime Lizard". She enjoys going home with Lime Lizard boys and girls for long weekends and holidays. We always want families involved with our class. Our door is always opened.
I am looking forward to a wonderful 2020-2021 school year of learning and discovering with your child.

Meet Mrs. April

Hello, my name is April May. This is my Third year with Calhoun City Schools as a Paraprofessional. This will be my second year working with Judith Ralston in the Lime Lizard room. I am married to Jeremy May and we have two children Lilly May and Briley May. Lilly will be in 10th grade this year and she is on the JV volleyball team.  Briley will be in 9th grade and does the swim team for Nitros and CHS.   I enjoy camping  and spending time with my family. I love working in PreK and I look forward to working with your child this year. GO JACKETS!
