Calhoun High School is proud to recognize Katherine (Kat) Atha and Max Richardson as our 2025 nominees for the prestigious Vincent J. Dooley Award, presented by Athletes for a Better World (ABW) in partnership with the Georgia High School Association.

Kat and Max were honored today, Saturday, May 10, at the Vincent J. Dooley Awards Ceremony held at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, where they were recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship, leadership, and service as senior student-athletes.

Each year, senior student-athletes across the state of Georgia are nominated for exemplifying the values of character, teamwork, and citizenship—both on and off the field. Nominees are eligible for the Vincent J. Dooley Scholarship, a four-year award totaling $4,000, along with a $500 grant to donate to the charity of their choice.
