CHS students brought fire safety to life this week at the Calhoun-Gordon County Library’s "Noni’s Nook", where Mrs. Brown’s Early Childhood Education students and Mrs. Holcomb’s TAP (Teaching as a Profession) pathway students lead weekly story time as part of their hands-on learning experience.
In recognition of Fire Safety Month, they shared Pete the Fire Cat and invited special guests from the Calhoun Fire Department. Toddlers met local firefighters, explored the fire truck, and took home fire hats, while our students led a hands-on graham cracker fire truck activity.
A great day of learning, literacy, and community connection. Proud of these future educators for giving back and inspiring the next generation. 🐝🚒📚
