Strong Partnerships. Real Opportunities.
Earlier today, Calhoun College and Career Academy EMT students led a mock ambulance call aboard The Healthy Hive with AdventHealth Gordon President and CEO Justin Birmele, highlighting the impact of a strong community partnership.
Through this pathway, students engage in hands-on training, computer-adaptive testing, and clinical experience on ambulances and in emergency departments. These experiences prepare students for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam and state licensure, opening doors to immediate careers in healthcare.
Calhoun City Schools is proud to partner with organizations like AdventHealth to provide meaningful, real-world learning opportunities. This partnership continues to create pathways for students while strengthening the future of our community.
