Free Meals for students 2025-2026

Calhoun City Schools is excited to announce that all students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch during the 2025–2026 school year.

This opportunity is made possible through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a federal program supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Through CEP, families are not required to submit meal applications—every enrolled student automatically qualifies for free meals at school.

We are grateful for the continued support of our School Nutrition Department, led by Director Kim Kiker, as well as the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Michele Taylor and our Board of Education, for prioritizing student health and wellness. By ensuring access to nutritious meals each day, CCS remains committed to supporting the whole child—fueling learning, growth, and success inside and outside the classroom.
