
FREE Sports Physicals for Calhoun Student-Athletes
Calhoun Athletics is proud to partner with AdventHealth Gordon and Hamilton Health to provide FREE sports physicals for our middle and high school student-athletes.
A current physical must be on file to try out and participate in athletics, so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to stay eligible and get ready for the 2026-2027 season.
Attention all current 5th–7th grade students entering or returning for the 2026–2027 school year:
Important Dates:
➡ Pre-Physical Screenings:
7th Grade - Monday, March 30 @ 12:00 PM (CMS)
5th & 6th Grade - Thursday, April 2 @ 9:00 AM (CES)
➡ Physicals: April 3 @ CES
7th grade students will be transported from CMS to CES around 9:00 AM
Required forms must be completed and submitted to the CES or CMS nurse by Friday, March 27. Participation requires completed paperwork and attendance at a pre-physical screening.

Signed AdventHealth Physical Consent Form
Completed Sports History Form
Attend the pre-physical screening.
FREE sports physicals for CHS student-athletes will be offered at a later date. More details coming soon.

About Us
The Calhoun City Schools Athletic Department offers a variety of competitive sports for students at Calhoun Middle School (grades 6-8) and Calhoun High School (grades 9-12). Elementary-aged students also have opportunities to connect with middle and high school sports through various youth nights and Community Education camps held throughout the year. The department's goal is to promote continual growth and development, both for teams and individual athletes. Gratitude is extended for community support and a commitment to enhancing each program is emphasized. Calhoun Middle School participates in the Bartow-Gordon Middle School Athletic Association (BGMSAA) and proudly offers the following sports for middle school student-athletes: Cheerleading (Competitive & Spirit), Cross Country, Fast-Pitch Softball, Football, Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming & Diving, Wrestling, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, and Track & Field.
Calhoun High School competes in Region 7-AAAAA of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) and proudly offers the following sports to high school student-athletes: Cheerleading (Competitive & Spirit), Cross Country, Fast-Pitch Softball, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming & Diving, Wrestling, Baseball, Golf, Slow-Pitch Softball, Soccer, Tennis, and Track & Field.
