At last night’s May Board of Education meeting, we proudly recognized outstanding students, staff, and programs across Calhoun City Schools.
Highlights included:

– Celebrating the inaugural CLASS and CLASS Jr. leadership cohorts
– Recognizing CES Math Mania winners and STEM & Science award recipients
– Spotlighting our Exemplary ESOL Student and Teacher
– Celebrating CHS Track & Field State Champions, including Jenna Proctor, our first female adaptive athlete, and Max Richardson, 4x state champion in adaptive shot put
– Honoring CHS Vincent Dooley Award nominees
– Presenting the GaDOE IDEA Award of Excellence
– Recognizing CHS’s first certified EMT students
– Celebrating FFA State Champions
