CHS 2026 AP Scholar Report

Calhoun High School proudly recognizes 52 students who earned AP Scholar distinctions from the College Board for their outstanding performance on Advanced Placement (AP) exams in 2026.

The College Board’s AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who demonstrate college-level achievement through AP courses and exams. During the 2025–2026 school year, Calhoun High School offered 17 AP courses, providing students with rigorous academic opportunities across a wide range of subjects.

A total of 173 CHS students completed 245 AP exams, with 71% earning a qualifying score of 3 or higher. This strong performance remains consistent with last year’s results and reflects the continued commitment of Calhoun High School students and teachers to academic excellence.

Among the 52 honorees:

  • 14 AP Scholars earned scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.

  • 10 AP Scholars with Honor earned an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams.

  • 28 AP Scholars with Distinction earned an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.

More than half of Calhoun High School’s 2026 AP Scholars earned the College Board’s highest AP Scholar distinction, highlighting the exceptional academic achievement of CHS students.

Calhoun City Schools congratulates each of these students, along with the teachers and families who have supported them in their pursuit of academic excellence. Their dedication and achievement continue Calhoun High School’s tradition of excellence while preparing students for success beyond graduation.
