Community Update: Warming Shelter Opening | With temperatures expected to drop significantly, the VOLUNTARY ACTION CENTER - Hand Up, Inc. will open its dining room as a warming shelter for women and children. Providence Men's Shelter will also be available for men in the community. 💛 Together, we can help ensure everyone in our community stays safe and warm! Our CTAE Story: Student Spotlight - Devin & Dylan Crawley 🐝✨ Meet Devin and Dylan Crawley, CHS seniors excelling in the Calhoun College & Career CTAE pathways while gaining valuable hands-on experience through our Work-Based Learning Program at Fox Systems! Devin has completed the Engineering pathway, where he developed a deep understanding of the engineering process. Meanwhile, Dylan is OSHA-certified and has gained essential workforce skills through the Construction pathway. After graduation, the Crawley brothers plan to pursue degrees in Engineering, inspired by a family legacy of successful engineers. "The CTAE pathways at Calhoun have set us up for success with real-world exposure," shared Devin and Dylan. As a dedicated HOSA member and a 2024 Drum Major for the Marching Yellow Jackets Band, Meleana embodies leadership and passion. She plans to attend Jacksonville State University to pursue a nursing career and work in NICU care.
