Yesterday’s System Leadership Team meeting brought district leaders together to collaborate, plan, and learn. As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Mike Afdahl from Northwest GA RESA led an Incident Response Simulation with support from Director of Technology Shane Shelton, reinforcing the importance of digital safety and preparedness across all schools.

TURN THE PAGE TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE | Calhoun Elementary celebrated 'Georgia Reads Day' with a full day of literacy fun and engaging activities! Classrooms welcomed mystery guest readers, and students joined a live virtual rally with Malcolm Mitchell, author and former UGA and New England Patriots wide receiver.
Each class received a copy of "My Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World," and students took home prizes of "The Magician’s Hat." Teachers proudly shared their favorites on the interactive "Book Jackets from the Yellow Jackets" display, making it a truly buzz-worthy day that sparked a love of reading for our Jackets! 🐝📚
