Non-resident applicants must complete the linked form prior to submitting student registration application.

New student registration linked below will only be completed for brand new enrolling students to Calhoun City Schools or Junior Jacket Academy. If you have older students in Calhoun City Schools, please log into your Parent Portal account to complete returning student registration for the older students. New students can be added inside the application at that time.  If you need assistance with CELA registration, please call Karen Moss at 706-602-6711.

Important Terms

• OLR - Online Registration

• The Parent or Guardian refers to the person(s) entrusted by law with the care of a minor. Examples include mom, dad, foster mom, foster dad, educational advocate, etc.

• Emergency Contact is any person who should be contacted if a parent/guardian cannot be reached.

• Other Household Members include any person who is not a parent/guardian, emergency contact, or student that lives in the same household as the student(s).

• The Student refers to the child that will be attending Calhoun City Schools.

When starting your OLR application, please remember:

• Only the parent/guardian in the student’s primary household may complete OLR. 

• Popup blockers must be turned off in order to complete OLR.

• Older model tablets/phones may not allow you to complete OLR.

• Preferred browsers are Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

• Mobile devices may open documents in a new window. You must close that window in order to return to the OLR application screen.

• Please make sure the ‘live’ picture option is not selected when uploading files. 

• If you do not have internet access, please contact the school where your child will attend to schedule an appointment with a family engagement coordinator.

Parents must submit all required documents in order to complete registration/enrollment.
