Parents or guardians enrolling students must present proof of identification, such as a valid photo ID, along with one proof of residence from the acceptable documents listed on our website.

For those residing outside the Calhoun city limits wishing to enroll as Non-Resident Students, please submit the following documents, if available, to the chosen school: a completed Non-Resident application, the student's current report card or transcript, standardized test scores, disciplinary records, and attendance records. Tuition fees apply; for detailed information, refer to the tuition tab. In cases where the student qualifies as homeless under the McKinney-Vento Law, while not mandatory, we appreciate any supporting documentation.

All students returning to Calhoun City Schools for the 2025-2026 school year must register online via Parent Portal.

Your child’s information will automatically populate when you enter online registration through your Parent Portal.  It is very important to verify all the information that is listed and update any information as necessary.  The information parents enter and/or approve during registration will be used in communications for students.

Proof of Residence is still required for all in-district registration and must be provided before the registration process can be finalized for your child. If you do not live in the Calhoun City District and pay tuition or are a Calhoun City Schools employee, proof of residence is NOT required. 

Acceptable proof of residence must be current and have parent/guardians' names and physical addresses listed.  

Only the following documents will be accepted for proof of residence: 

• Mortgage statement or Lease/rental agreement with beginning and ending dates, name, address, and/or telephone number of the lessor; or 

• Current gas, electric, or water bill (within 30 days); or 

• Current government agency mail such as food stamps, Medicaid, or SSI statements (within 30 days).

Proof of Residence can be uploaded electronically with your online application or sent via email to the respective school registrar.

Please be advised that your child’s registration will NOT be considered “complete” if proof of residence is not provided.

*If your child will not be returning to Calhoun City Schools for the 2025-2026 school year, please notify your child’s school.
