Calhoun Primary “snuggled up with literacy” Thursday evening at Family Title I Night! Families enjoyed hands-on activities, received parent tips for supporting reading, participated in interactive story time, and visited the Book Fair. TURN THE PAGE TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE | Calhoun Elementary celebrated 'Georgia Reads Day' with a full day of literacy fun and engaging activities! Classrooms welcomed mystery guest readers, and students joined a live virtual rally with Malcolm Mitchell, author and former UGA and New England Patriots wide receiver.

Each class received a copy of "My Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World," and students took home prizes of "The Magician’s Hat." Teachers proudly shared their favorites on the interactive "Book Jackets from the Yellow Jackets" display, making it a truly buzz-worthy day that sparked a love of reading for our Jackets! 🐝📚
