CCS REACH Scholars recently attended the 2nd annual REACH Georgia Day at the University of North Georgia. This year’s REACH Day theme was “What Comes Next”. REACH Georgia scholars from across the state received important information and resources to help them decide What Comes Next after high school graduation and how to get there. Representatives from the Georgia Department of Economic Development hosted a career exploration session that highlighted some of the high-demand career industries here in North Georgia. Students also participated in breakout sessions that provided information about college admissions, paying for college, student life, and much more. We are very proud of these students and their hard work as our CCS REACH scholars. We look forward to watching their success as they continue to be lifelong learners in college and career. Go Jackets! #proudtobeayellowjacket

The Calhoun Middle School Symphonic Band recently competed in their first Large Group Performance Evaluation competition and brought home Superior Ratings! Congratulations to these talented students and Director Thomas Osborne, on this outstanding achievement! 🐝🎼🌟 #proudtobeayellowjacket
