Attendance Tips✔ Every day counts, Jackets! 🐝 Mark your calendars for our Perfect Attendance Day Challenge on Friday, September 27. The top three grade levels with the highest attendance will win an ice cream party! #SchoolAttendance United We Stand. Together We Swarm! #ProudToBeAYellowJacket

Attention: Unplanned Early Release Dismissal for CMS & CHS Only - Due to an unforeseen issue with the HVAC system at Calhoun Middle and High Schools, CMS and CHS students ONLY will be dismissed at 11:15AM today. Repairs to the system are currently underway but require shutting down the HVAC system. Due to today's forecast and heat index, it is in the best interest of student safety for an early dismissal for CMS and CHS. School nutrition is prepared to provide grab and go lunches for students at the Campus before they leave. All other schools will follow their regular schedule today, and CCS extracurricular activities remain unaffected. Buses will begin taking CMS and CHS students home at 11:15 AM. We apologize for the short notice, but this situation is beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Reminder: Calhoun City Schools will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of Labor Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 3. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend! United We Stand. Together We Swarm! #proudtobeayellowjacket
